Our History
We, the members of MAARPU WELFARE SOCIETY, united by a common vision of social welfare and community upliftment, hereby establish this Constitution to guide our actions and promote the principles of equity, compassion, and inclusivity. This document outlines our objectives, governance structure, and the rights and responsibilities of our members. Our mission is to promote social welfare through a variety of programs and initiatives that address critical issues such as poverty, education, health care, and community development. We aim to empower marginalized populations, foster sustainable development, and create lasting change.

There are many occasions when I think that I should contribute to the welfare of the society while I am at a higher level of education, a nutrition counselor, a trainer, a middle-class housewife with family responsibilities. Thinking in this way, service as a social responsibility by a voluntary organization, especially taking three main points as the main point to bring change here, was formed as the Maarpu Welfare Society. (1) Pregnant women should be healthy, what kind of precautions should be taken to control sugar, what kind of food should be taken, giving necessary instructions (2) Programs to create awareness about food to be taken for quick recovery by giving courage to cancer patients.
(3)” Today's children are tomorrow's citizens”. Maarpu welfare society has been established to bring these ideas into action that the next generation should be good to develop with good behavior and good goals.
While Establishing Maarpu welfare society, activities were conducted in some government schools, junior colleges to motivate this generation teenagers on the topic bad habits should be avoided and good habits should be developed. At the same time , ......organized further programs to participate in independence day celebrations among students on 15th August while motivate them. Tulasi Padmasree, Founder & President of Maarpu Welfare Society said that while explaining the relief programs done by Maarpu Welfare Society to the flood victims who are facing difficulties due to floods in Vijayawada city. Unexpected disaster due to heavy rains on Saturday many areas in Vijayawada city are flooded, houses are submerged and the people living there are suffering a lot.
In such circumstances, people from Ramalingeswara Nagar, PatamataLanka, were informed that the people in the sheds were being afraid of floods. We gave them courage and sent food packets, water bottles, candles to 150 people with them.
Some of the people who worked as Drivers in our organization used to live in low lying areas and affected due to floods recently. They contacted us and informed about the problems they are facing due to lack of proper food, water and electricity.
So, we immediately responded to them by gathering some people who voluntarily came forward to help and we provided the affected people with water bottles, milk packets, and biscuit packets and as there was no electricity in the flood affected areas at that time, we even provided candles to them.
In such a case, the NDRF staff was not allowed us to go on Monday. With the permission on Tuesday we went and provide assistance to them for a short time.
In this way, in order to help the flood victims, till the day before the Vinayaka Chavithi festival, we helped the people who we know for many years in Singh Nagar, Vambay Colony and other areas. After seeing the photos of the flood victims' difficulties and hardships, the scenes are more heart-wrenching than those described in the call, so on the next day of the Vinayaka Chavithi festival, visit the areas directly and see their sufferings, hardships, helplessness, hunger, and waiting for help. The scenes are heart touching and their sufferings are mind blowing and then the decision is taken. Yes, You should help people when they are in trouble even. As this is our main motto we took helping others is our responsibility. After doing a charity program in one area, after going home, a friend from another area calls and asks to help them here. We have spent much needed money to help the flood victims in various colonies for about 30 consecutive days. It is not a situation of having good money and spending it. The conditions here are the people of Vijayawada, the hardships of the flood victims, small children, pregnant women, old people, they are in trouble now. This is the time to stand by them and take care of them with humanity. .... Money stashed away by frugality as a middle-class housewife cuts expenses. Earlier it was informed that the money saved for the higher education of the children was spent, especially the money saved for our Child NEET was spent on relief programs.

“Education is the most powerful weapon you can use to change the world” – Nelson Mandela I am, Mr. Mothukuri Visweswara Rao, working as Senior Electrical Engineer in Dubai. Over the years, I have supported various causes, but the one thing close to my heart remains children’s education in the government schools / colleges. Growing up in a village, I have seen a lot of children without proper guidance and support to build their careers. I was looking for a good organization to help these children.When Mrs. Tulasi Padma Sree shared the idea of establishing an organization to focus on health and education, I have shown my interest to join with them.As I am living abroad, I would like to support MAARPU remotely. I am happy to be a part of MAARPU Welfare Society.

My self is Chandrashekhar BTech. Working in Accenture. In marpu foundation my journey. The introduction of marpu Foundation Chairman tulasi mam came at a time when I was thinking of doing my bit for a better society. Since both of us had the same ideas and views to move forward with a good program for the society, as soon as they asked me, I decided to move forward with the marpu Foundation to be established by Tulasi mam. For the first time in this journey, awareness sessions were organized in schools and colleges on the new foundations of a better society, social responsibility of children, financial literacy and how to deal with the psychological problems of children in the society. When the next natural disaster came, the Foundation was doing its part to help society marpu every need that people needed, and was providing everything from food, clothes, medicine, milk and essential supplies. The elderly and orphans who do not get proper care in the society, they are assured and supported by the marpu Foundation. That being said, the marpu Foundation is doing its best to address the socio-economic and psychological problems in society. Therefore, I am happy to share that my contribution to the above mentioned programs has been carried out as part of my responsibility to provide help and support in every program undertaken by the marpu Foundation in the future as well. I am very happy and proud to work with the marpu Foundation and I am satisfied that we are able to contribute a lot to the society.
